BolderBOULDER Package from Skechers Performance

I agreed to run the BolderBOULDER. I had heard about the race in Boulder, Colorado but have never done it. It was also a good excuse to see my cousin, Mindy and her family while I was in town. And, since my executive VP, Lisa, lives in Boulder, it was an even better excuse! I was excited to see them and be part of one of the largest 10K races around!

Every year, BolderBOULDER expects more than 54,000 runners to participate in the Memorial Day event.

As a blog ambassador for BolderBOULDER, I received a generous package from one of their sponsors, Skechers Performance. Here’s what I got and what I thought of it:

GoRun Ride 6 – This lightweight neutral cushioned shoe has a molded heel and inner support strap for a stable and secure it. It’s a 4mm heel drop  and weighs only 6.6 oz. I tried it out a couple of times. (I wanted to break them in before the big race.) They are extremely comfortable, quick and responsive for a short race. And, the color is teal blue (my favorite)! Retails: $90

Raina Tank Top – This is a hot tank! It’s comfortable, made of poly, spandex and mesh blend. It’s also moisture resistant. I received a large and I can say, it runs a little big. But, when I’m running in the heat, big is good. It’s not too clingy. Price: $29

Spade Hoodie – This is a gorgeous hoody! Also in teal blue, which I love, the hoodie is poly, rayon and spandex blend and is extremely comfortable. It has a stretchy fabric with big pockets. It’s a full zippered hoodie with a brushed interior and funnel neck for warmth and comfort when there is a chill in the air. Price: $40

Seaside Shorts — These hot babies are made of poly and spandex blend and they are great for running. I only wish they had a underwear insert like many of the competitor shorts have. Otherwise, I really love them. Price: $44

Bayview Capri – These are nylon and spandex blend athletic style Capri with moisture wicking way fabric. However, I found them too to be a little thicker than I would have liked. I wore them for a run and didn’t feel uncomfortable, like I thought I might, so I was pretty happy with their performance! Price: $44

I wore them all during race prep and then when the actual race happened, I wore the sneakers and the shorts. Of course, I had to wear my WeRTriathletes singlet and visor!
