Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Team in Training!
I’ve always seen the athletes in purple at various running and triathlon events, but really didn’t know much about who they were and what they were doing. All I knew was they were part of a group called Team in Training. Later I found out they were raising money for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
As a part of WeRTriathletes webinar series, I decided it would be appropriate to speak with a representative from Team in Training to find out what they do and how athletes can get involved. I spoke with Jennifer Anne Taggert, Senior Campaign Manager of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Team In Training. During the interview, she told me her life was changed after her first experience with Team in Training.
Take the time to watch this short video and learn about LLS and Team in Training. After I spoke with Jen, I was convinced that I had to get involved. Therefore, I decided to run with Team in Training for the St. Anthony’s Triathlon, one of the country’s oldest triathlons in Florida. If you would consider joining me, let me know. If you can’t, then please consider donating to my fundraising page and together we can help fight cancer. Here’s the link: http://pages.teamintraining.org/li/anttry18/htopper
