Recovery Shoe Review: HOKA ORA Recovery Slides

When I was at the Road Runner’s Shop at Berkeley in California, I noticed that there was an interesting pair of recovery slides on a stand. With the brand name, HOKA written on them, I couldn’t help but try them on.

I took off my sneakers and slid into the HOKA ORA Recovery Slides. My first impression: heaven! My feet felt so incredible. I took a walk around the store. With every step, I felt as if I were walking on clouds. I couldn’t believe it.

I’ve tried recovery shoes before and most are very comfortable. These are incredible. I’ve been very impressed with the HOKA shoe since I tried the Clifton 4’s. Before that, I wasn’t that impressed, but now I’m a believer! I love the Clifton 4’s and I dream about these ORA recovery slides every time I swim, bike or run. They are that good!

The ORA is breathable and the strap keeps you locked in so you don’t slide all over the place. The shoe is waterproof so you can take it in the open water or the shower with you. There’s so much cushion and bounce, it’s incredible.

I even bought a pair for my son (who uses it in the shower) and am trying to convince my husband and daughter that they need a pair too!

If you suffer from any type of foot pain or achilles pain, these shoes are wonderful. They melt away the pain, at least they did for me…

I paid full retail price for them, which was $50 and I can assure you, you won’t be disappointed! Happy recovery!
