EventPowerLI has more than a dozen amazing races from running through the vineyards of the North Fork of Long Island to competing in a triathlon in the Hamptons, the event company does it all!  And, they do it so well. I’ve always been impressed with the job they do organizing and coordinating each event. It feels seamless for the athlete.

Interestingly, EventPowerLI’s slogan is “Empower Yourself,” and that’s exactly what you do when you compete in a triathlon (or a running race)!

In my short three years of racing triathlon, I’ve done quite a few EventPowerLI races including – MightyMan Montauk, Power of a Woman and Mighty NorthFork. I loved each and every one of them. This year, I plan on competing in Smith Point Sprint, Steve Tarpinian Mighty Hamptons and MightyMan Montauk (I need to try to redeem myself!). I’m so excited about this upcoming race season. I hear they are amazing events!

The Town of Huntington Triathlon is a sprint and attracts a lot of beginners, yet, it’s not supposed to be that easy!

What’s a sprint? It’s a shorter distance race that is usually fast!  This one, is a 750 swim at Crab Meadow Beach in Northport, a 9.8 mile ride through rolling hills and a 3.3 mile run through and around the area.
