Chris Kaplanis and the RTA Triathlon team are hosting two incredible Lake Placid Triathlon Training Camps this summer, from June 26-29 and August 7-10, 2025. Whether you’re gearing up for IRONMAN Lake Placid or simply seeking a world-class training weekend, these camps are crafted to push your limits, expand your knowledge, and leave you inspired.

What is Included in the Camp Experience?

Structured Daily Sessions:

Begin each morning with training alongside expert coaches, featuring swim, bike, and run workouts tailored to challenge and enhance your skills.

Insider Expertise

The coaches have coached over 150 athletes for Ironman Lake Placid and are familiar with every inch of the course. This intel is imperative before you race Ironman Lake Placid.

Tentative Schedule Highlights

Here’s a taste of what’s in store during the camp (full sample schedule available):

Thursday (Optional): Arrival, short tune-up bike and run, swim at Mirror Lake.

Friday & Saturday: Extended bike rides on the IRONMAN course paired with tempo runs, long swim sets, and evening sessions packed with essential knowledge.

Sunday: Your capstone long run covering key parts of the IRONMAN course, with a relaxed swim to close out the weekend.
