Maloja Running Top Review

Maloja Running Top Review

Most athletes hear about a few different brands on the market, Nike, Under Armour, Adidas but we barely hear about the obscure brands that have great running apparel.

In comes Maloja. The parent company is from Germany and they have a flagship store in Munich. Their slogan Maloja, the alpan way… (I guess we would say, Alpine Way in English.)

Most recently the company sent me an unsolicited top, the GrettaM. Top in Pinetree size Medium. I was a little surprised to get this in the mail, but I figured I would check it out and see if it was review worthy.

A couple of things I want to point out about this top:

  • The sizing was perfect. I typically like to wear a large, but the medium was a perfect fit. Snug but not too snug and very comfortable!
  • It has rapid moisture management and I can attest to this because I wore it on a hot summer day and I didn’t feel sticky and gross. I felt cool and comfortable.
  • The GrettaM. top has a four way stretch making it durable and flexible.
  • The fabric has an interesting twist – it includes a polygiene odor control technology that is a biocide based on silver salt made from recycled silver. Believe it or not, you can wear this shirt several times before you wash.

I loved this tank top. It’s made well and you can wear it throughout a long event and feel comfortable all day. I love the stretch fabric and the thinness of it.

The Bettam comes in two colors – pinetree and mountain (which is a red color). The price is 44.90 euros.

Although unsolicited, I’m really happy they sent this out to me. The Maloja running top will be one of my favorites!
