I met so many interesting companies at The Running Event in Austin in December. They all had viable products and I wanted to share a round-up here:
This is a new cap company specifically for women. What’s interesting about this cap is that you can wear your hair in a bun, half up half down, or in a ponytail. They invented this proprietary feature in the back of the cap to enable you to wear your hair as you like.
The cap is breathable and has UPF 50+ sun protection. It’s also machine washable. It retails for $29.
My feet were absolutely killing me at TRE. It was two days of walking up and down aisles to look at some fascinating new products. I was stopped by a massage therapist who wanted to know if she could rub my feet.
“Sure,” I said. Normally, I don’t love people touching my feet but they really were achy. Anyway, she put on Doctor Hoy’s Natural Arnica Boost and Pain Relief Gel. And you know what? After a couple of minutes, my feet felt so much better and I was ready to go.
You can pick up these products at https://doctorhoys.com/collections/shop-all. The Arnica is priced at $19.99 and the Pain Relief is $24.95.
TANRI was another interesting company I met at TRE. They have three different types of sunblock — SPF30 lotion, SPF50+ lotion, and an SPF50+ spray. The tubes are $16 on their website and the spray retails for $17.
At the event, a friend of mine suggested that I stop by the RNNR booth. They sell apparel and running caps. At the event, they were giving away running caps that say, “FAST ENOUGH.”
I love that saying because no matter how fast or slow, you are fast enough for yourself!
They also had a race cap that said, “party pace,” which I thought was hysterical. The caps retail for $32.30 on their website.
They are a new company and make Kinesiology Tape infused with Magnesium and Menthol. What a game-changer in that space! You can use it anywhere and get benefits from the tape and from the supplements within the tape. The tape is priced at $24.99 and you can pick it up on the website.
ShowerPill Body Wipe
The company launched these “wipes” at TRE. They are portable wipes for you to use after a run. They kill 99.99% of germs and contain Aloe Vera and Witch Hazel. Each packet has one wipe. You can pick up a box of 40 on Amazon for $31.99.
