Since we are all on “lockdown,” I thought I would share some webinars that were recently showed to WeRTriathletes members. Mangai HoSang Bio

Mangai is a Colorado native and lifelong athlete he grew up playing sports year around. A top-ranked alpine ski racer, all-state football player, and top three state sprinter, he initially attended the University of Northern Colorado as a scholarship athlete. Ultimately, Mangai enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a hospital corpsman and later transitioned as a helicopter rescue swimmer/ combat search and rescue crew-chief. He retired in 2015 after 23 years of service with over 2000 flight hours.

Mangai holds a Bachelor’s degree in Sports and Health Science specializing in athletic performance. He has experience coaching high school track and football. As a strength and conditioning and sports performance coach, he’s trained AAU basketball teams, football, baseball, and state championship field hockey and swimmers at the high school and college level. He has also successfully trained candidates for entry to military special programs including U.S. Marine aviation and U.S. Navy Seal candidates.

Mangai remains an active multi-sport athlete including multiple Ironman triathlon finish- es. Always looking for the next challenge he recently completed a 50k trail race and has his sights set on completing a Double Ironman distance triathlon and 100-mile ultra-marathon.
